May 20, 2020 Update

The last few months have been difficult for so many individuals, families, and businesses for so many different reasons. We at Katie's Handprint, hope that you are safe and well.

With Governor Dunleavy opening up most of the restrictions on Alaska, we have decided to move forward with planning our annual ride, Kruisin' for Katie's Handprint. We will plan and adjust accordingly to any changes in state and/or municipal mandates or orders. Our first concern is obviously the health and safety of our fellow Alaskans. We look forward to Alaska continuing the downward trend of positive cases and returning to the vibrant, healthy community we're used to!

Our event will look and operate a little differently this year as we all get used to a new normal. We know many of our Alaska businesses that generously sponsor and support us year after year have been hit hard by the mandatory restrictions and closings. While we are still in need of donations, we're reaching out to many of the restaurant and retail businesses to see how WE can help THEM. Some brilliant ladies I know gave me an idea to move Katie's Handprint's mission and still help our business supporters. Stay tuned for more information on that!

Registration for the ride will be up within the next week. Save the date for August 8, 2020.

If you can help us out with time or talent, please let me know.

We appreciate every one of you and send so much love to our Katie's Handprint grant families as well. You're always in our minds and hearts.
