Asher - Wasilla

Asher was diagnosed with AML in Alaska after months of taking him to many different doctors. He was very very sick in the beginning with cancer.  He overcame huge hurdles, a heart effusion, a brain bleed, and many other issues. He beat his cancer in October 2021 and turned 2 years old, he then finished the treatment and got to go home for three months. His little brother, Malachi, was born only two days before transplant.  He had a bone marrow transplant on January 5, 2022. We then went back to Alaska in April 2022.

He then relapsed on July 17th, 2022, we had to move back to Seattle leaving my 6-year-old daughter again. He’s had countless blood products, countless infusions, and countless different medicines. Throughout, he held strong to the storm and had his second transplant on November 18, 2022. Conditioning before transplant involved high-dose chemo and total body irradiation. He still has many hurdles to overcome but continues to be SmAsher Strong.
