Katie’s Handprint

Our Mission

Katie’s Handprint is an Alaskan organization passionately dedicated to helping Alaskan families. We recognize that the fight against childhood cancer is a challenge the entire family experiences together, and we want to support families currently in that chapter of their lives. Seeking medical treatment in Alaska adds additional challenges: traveling for treatments, or even relocating whole families into Anchorage or beyond. Katie’s Handprint seeks to ease the burden of these additional finances so the focus can be on what is most important - caring for the child and family.

Since the first grants were distributed in 2018, Katie’s Handprint continues to grow:
